Otherwise, a great part of research is about physiological reflection after low-dose ionizing radiation irradiating human body, influence of DNA change, and statistics of survival rates. Therefore, the relation between collagen and low-dose ionizing radiation is very important but unclear. Polarization sensitive optical coherence tomography(PS-OCT) with heterodyne technology has micro-meter scale resolution, so not only can we get reflection signal and birefringence change at the same time, but also enhance the sensitivity and collimation of PS-OCT. We hope to set up PS-OCT successfully and use it to observe the reaction after heat and low-dose ionizing radiation influencing human body more sensitively in our laboratory. We used both plant and animal samples to observe the birefringence signal. From observing animal samples using heat and ionizing radiation as variables, we can find the source of signal coming from intrinsic birefringence and form birefringence, but PS-OCT is not an effective tool to observe the reflection after ionizing radiation irradiating animal samples.
