But owing to the ferric ion diffusion phenomenon, all experiments on MR should be finished within 30 minutes after irradiation to keep good accuracy of the dosimetry. The R1-based method can measure the radiation absorbed dose distribution satisfactory, but 3D resolution is limited by the time required. In this study, a feasible study on 3D R1-based gel dosimetry method is conducted. By using MP-RAGE pulse sequence together with appropriate parameters setting; all the merits of Fricke gel dosimetry are reasonably kept.
