Summary: | 碩士 === 萬能科技大學 === 經營管理研究所 === 92 === The main purpose of this study is to explore the relationship among role conflict、role ambiguity、job satisfaction、 job performance in life insurance industry.
To provide some empirical evidences, this study investigates the employee of three companies of life insurance in Taipei. The major findings are as follow:(1) role conflict has a negative relationship to job satisfaction.(2) role ambiguity has a positive relationship to job satisfaction.(3) job satisfaction has significant influnce to job performance.(4) role conflict has a part of negative relationship to job performance.(5) role ambiguity has a positive relationship to job performance. This study provides some meaningful implications to management practice and future research.(6) job satisfaction between role conflict、role ambiguity and job performance has not an intervening variable effect.
Based on research findings, practical and academical suggestions are also provided. Academically this study suggests that selecting various samples of role conflict and role ambiguity and including more sales persons among various industries in future studies. Practically, this study suggests that insurance companies should understand sales persons’ needs, reduce and correct their unsatisfaction , clear their role to promote their job satisfaction.
