| Summary: | 碩士 === 萬能科技大學 === 經營管理研究所 === 92 === In recent years, Taiwan has become one of advanced countries with economics liberalizing and market internationalizing, by which we could handle any variety of changing on international economics environments and give local economic an accelerant of development. After our returning to WTO, most of industries, such as inland freight, will be gradually liberalized according to the bilateral trade treaty of WTO. Therefore, these inland freight forwarders, which was protected for a long time by the government, will suffer a heavy impact. According to the above reasons, it has been an order of business for survival to consolidate the qualities of freight, to improve the operational process, and to enhance the costumers’ services, which can make us easier in such changing.
Consequently, this study provide a method to evaluate the operation performance of financial and non-financial structure. With this method, This study is expected to reach the goals as follows: 1.Building up the indexes for evaluating enterprise performance by case studies and documentations of freight; 2.Making freight managers know what the situation is now and alerting the worse one; 3. Concretizing the operational evolution indexes.
For the difficulty of collecting data about freight, this study uses the Grey Relational Analysis, which can overcomes the problem of sparse samples and the limitation of unknown forms of the datum, to categorize these primary indexes, from which we can catch some representative ones. The study results show that the financial indexes and the non-financial index have complementarities and independences. Each index has its own functions and limitation. We can not recognize the fare problems if we just evaluate the operation performance with only one index.
This study will evaluates the business performance of two freight forwarders in last 3 years and propose the strategic suggestions to them according to the conclusion made by the method provided in this study.
