Description
Summary:碩士 === 大同大學 === 材料工程研究所 === 92 === Titania thin films and powders with various amounts of silica addition were prepared by using sol-gel technique. Titania powders were obtained by direct heat-treating the prepared gel. However, various titania thin films were obtained by spin-coating the prepared gel on 304 stainless steel substrates and the subsequent designated heat treatments. The structure and properties of various TiO2 thin films and powders were conducted by applying X-Ray Diffractometry (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrometry (FTIR), Ultraviolet-Visible Spectrometry (UV-Vis) and X-Ray Photoelectron Spectrometry (XPS), respectively. The presence of silica in TiO2 thin films: (1) suppressed the formation of rutile phase and grain growth; (2) increased the UV absorbency, and (3) decreased the contact angle of water. The presence of silica in TiO2 powders: (1) suppressed the formation of rutile phase and grain growth; (2) increased both the energy gap and UV absorbency of TiO2 powders.
