Description
Summary:碩士 === 臺北市立師範學院 === 應用語言文學研究所 === 92 === Jiang Kui, a very important poet in the middle period of Nan Song, was versatile. His talents were perfectly reflected in his appreciation of poems and proficiency in Chinese calligraphy. He had a very good command of writing both poems and articles. Famous as a poet when he was very young, Jiang wrote poems in his own style. His poems, ranked almost as the same level as those of “ the Four Major Poets of Nan Song” (南宋四大家), were valued highly at that period. Yang Wan-Li and Fan Cheng-Dei of the Song Dynasty as well as many articles and poems of the Qin Dynasty ( A General Introduction of Si Ku Quan Shu 四庫全書總目提要 was also included ) valued his poems highly. However, he was considered as a great Ci(詞) writer rather than a poet of the Song Dynasty. Researches on the content and style of Jiang’s Ci(詞) could be found everywhere and a lot of people were fond of his Ci(詞). Found only in some books of History and a small parts of articles, Jiang’s poems have never been studied and discussed on a large scale. Therefore, the purpose of this thesis is to have the contents, artistic techniques and styles of Jiang’s poems explored so as to make his achievement on poems known to the public. The thesis is divided into six chapters. Chapter 1: A general introduction on the motif, purpose, material, method as well as the documentation of the thesis is explained at the very beginning. And the background of his contemporaries is also analyzed. History of Jiang Kui and that of his poems were listed on a chronological basis as well. Chapter 2: Jiang’s attitude toward his own poems. The originality of his attitude toward his own poems is discussed and classified as the theory, the genre, the technique of creativity and the appreciation. And how Jiang fulfilled his attitude toward his own poems is also proved by way of examples. Chapter 3: The major content of Jiang’s poems. National Affair, Retired Life in the Country, Expression of Love, Travel Reports together with the Local Customs and Practices ( the major content of Jiang’s poems ) are analyzed and exemplified. Chapter 4: An introduction of the artistic techniques ( the art of writing, wordings, syntax and phonology ) hidden in Jiang’s poems are explored and discussed. Chapter 5: On Jiang’s writing style, place in history and the influence on his followers. His style is assembled at the very beginning and comments made by his followers are valued on a chronological basis. And his place in history and influence on his followers are also discussed. Chapter 6: Conclusion. 1. To make a general comment on the achievement of the thesis. 2. To prove Jiang’s achievement on poems. 3. To guide the direction of the research in the future.
