Proceeding forth from the elucidations of these aspects, the thesis further explores the feasibility of the introduction of ISO standards into kindergartens and those peripheral support measures. To achieve the goal of this research, the author has adopted methods such as literature study, interview and attendances of professional seminars, and collected comprehensive literatures of quality control from other domestic and oversea researchers. The author also personally visited and interviewed with relevant persons to collect their hands-on experiences and pragmatic opinions, and further elaborated on subjects of the motivations, methods, scheduling, scopes as well as special difficulties and efficacies of ISO introduction. Meanwhile, based on conscientious opinions and advices from various experts, the author came to revise the original ISO terminologies into educational terms to be more suitably adopted within the milieu of kindergarten education. The general contents of ISO introduction into kindergarten, however, correspond to five categories: the quality management system, executive vision, leadership of kindergarten administration, children learning efficacy and evaluations, and result analysis and improvements. The major conclusions of this thesis are such as follows: 1. Those educational institutes that have so far introduced ISO standards are mainly colleges or universities and only a limited number of kindergartens. 2. The introduction of ISO standards into kindergartens should better be deemed as a means and, in turn, the attainment of TQM should be as its end. 3. Motivations for the introduction of ISO standards into kindergarten may widely vary; and the ways of its introduction are mostly by seeking helps from consulting firms. 4. Areas on which the ISO standardization is to be introduced are mostly administrative areas, not the teaching pragmatics. 5. Similar to the ISO introduction into corporate sectors and other levels of educational institutions, the ISO introduction into kindergartens could also face lots of obstacles, especially those due to human factors. 6. There are numerous benefits from ISO introduction into kindergartens, such as clarification of administrative procedures, etc. However, most kindergartens did not accommodate subsequent auditing procedures, and, as a result, will not come easy to maintain their administrative quality and efficiency. 7. To broaden the base of kindergartens to be ready for the introduction of ISO standardization, relevant ISO terminologies and various ISO forms should be properly adapted for easier reception. Based on the aforementioned conclusions, the author of this thesis will proffer some suggestions for the kindergarten, the educational administration authorities, and also for further studies.
