The experiment design of the study was a pretest-posttest unequal control group experimental design. The subjects of the study consisted 2 classes of fifth-grade students in Taipei Nanmen elementary school. They were divided into two groups: the experimental group which received the gender equity education course for six weeks (two times a week, Monday and Thursday, 40 minutes in the morning), and the control group which received no treatment. Two instruments, Measurement of Attitudes Towards the Gender Role and Measurement of Attitudes Towards the Gender Equity, were used in both groups at pre, post, and 4 weeks follow-up experimental period. The data obtained in this study were analyzed by two-way ANOVA. This study comes up with following conclusions: The gender equity education course showed significant and immediate teaching effects in both two measurements, and to the measures of 4 weeks follow-up experimental period, too. They were divided into two groups: the experimental group which received the gender equity education course for six weeks (two times a week, Monday and Thursday, 40 minutes in the morning), and the control group which received no treatment.
