However, the influence of the outdoor education to the learners still remains unknown. Therefore, the main purpose of this research is to understand the influences of outdoor education on “scientific achievements”, “scientific attitudes”, and “attitudes toward science” for fifth grade students by using fungi material as teaching material. Furthermore, the students’ opinions toward outdoor education is also studied. The research is a quasi-experimental design, aiming at quantity analysis. Four self-design measurements are used to conduct this experiment. They are “science achievement tests”, “upper grade scientific attitude measurement”, “ attitudes toward science measurement”, and “outdoor education opinion measurement”. There are three groups of students in this experiment, the first 31 students received outdoor education; the other 34 students received regular instruction accompanied with experiment, and another 34 students received general lecturing without experiment. The research found that outdoor education is better than the other two kinds of teaching methods in different aspects, such as to alleviate students’ scientific learning achievements, to enhance students’ positive scientific attitudes and attitudes toward science in a positive way, as well as alleviate students’ learning interests and therefore benefit in their learning. 吳美麗 2004 學位論文 ; thesis 124 zh-TW |
