The study use qualitative paradigm to analytical induction of professors depth interview and teachers focus groups and content analysis.From these constant comparative method of qualitative analysis to understand that what is primary school students’ environmental literacy. The results are as follow: 1)Environmental literacy is a kind of ability through the stratum.And which need to develop by acquired education. Environmental literacy at least include environmental knowledge, environmental attitude, environmental skill and environmental action and it’s connotation is regional. 2)The primary school teachers think the students are not enough in the level of the real participation.And they also stay in the level of knowledge,attitude,and values.They do not arrive at environmental skill and experience.The other way is the teacher think students’ environmental literacy has a dept correlation in his life even which reflect his family life. 3)In every study field have the concept of environmental literacy which in the first and second degree are in the major of awareness,understand and appreciation.Then in the third and forth degree have more contents in collection,investigation and authority of environment.In the fifth and sixth degree star to study in how to discuss and solve environmental problem. To the following suggestions: 1)This study suggests that can estalish a group of study each level of people to build a local length of environmental literacy in the future 2)In the object of study,it suggests that can choose every citys’ teachers for the breadth of study. 3)Each school can organize a squad of develop school course,they can study their schools’ environment and community to understand what kind of environmental issue and question they have ,and then they can provid to their teachers and students use. 高翠霞 2004 學位論文 ; thesis 0 zh-TW
