Summary: | 碩士 === 淡江大學 === 化學學系 === 92 === There are three functions (moisture absorption, fungus inhibition, and water-repellency) of micro-fiber fabric treatments. The treatment processes with soaking, press, and knife coating by using various self-curable functional resins, respectively. An isocyanate (NCO)-terminated hydrophilic PU resin is utilized to achieve a fabric with high moisture absorption property. A quarternary ammonium salt and silane containing compound is applied on the fabric surface to obtain an fungus inhibition purpose. And a fluoro-containing polyacrylate copolymer is used for two-stage treatment and obtaining a water-repellent fabric. These functions of treated fabrics are remained after 10 times water-washing due to the post-curing of these functional resins. These evidences are proved by scanning electronic microscope (SEM) micrographs which demonstrating the functional resins adhered on the fiber surface that are after washing for 10 times.
