Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 土木與防災技術研究所 === 92 === Owing to the higher density of development in urban areas, impermeable ground surface is being used increasingly, runoff and flood frequency are relatively increased and thus the use of impermeable surfaces is one of the many reasons that have caused increasingly serious flooding in Taiwan in recent years. Therefore, a method of increasing the permeable areas in urban locations has become one of the most important issues and the widespread adoption of permeable pavement is one of the most effective methods of resolving this flooding problem. On one hand the infiltration behavior exhibited by permeable pavement has mostly been studied through indoor laboratory experimentation, thus there is only limited information available of relevant evaluation reporting and research into infiltration behavior outdoors on in-situ permeable surfaces. On the other hand if the relevant predicted evaluation data obtained from foreign countries were utilized, considering the different rainfall, soil and construction conditions, the data would be highly unreliable. As a result, evaluating the effectiveness of permeable pavement at the early construction design stage can only be carried out by estimation, the designer and decision maker not being able to make a fully informed and thus correct judgment. Therefore the domestic promotion of permeable pavement has been subject to many queries and an overall mistrust has caused hesitation in its adoption. Hence, through the carrying out of outdoor infiltration tests and experiments on in-situ permeable pavement, this research wishes to provide the domestic construction industry with correct and reliable integrated information for reference and application in respect of the design and concept promotion of permeable pavement.
