Improve the LCD TV’s HDTV color shifting

碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 電機工程系碩士班 === 92 === In this paper, I focused on HDTV color shifted problem to do my research when produced LCD TV in the production lines. There are some steps will be described as follows. First, focused on LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) panel applications to analog and digital functions introduction. Second, to explain LCD TV’s (Liquid Crystal Display Television) HDTV (High Definition Television) color shifted problem and try to find out the root-cause. Third, to introduce HDTV’s calibration flow. Final, to consider HDTV must be done calibration again after did the software upgrade by somebody. After researched this paper, I found that HDTV color shifted problem was come from ADC (Analog to Digital Convert) gains values setting were not so good in accordance with the red, the green, and the blue colors. So, it can be obviously seen HDTV color shifted phenomenon on the screen when the user to watch HDTV programs. Further more, it must be done HDTV calibration again when did the software upgrade. This way will be lost a lot of time and money. After verified and confirmed HDTV color shifted problem can be solved when produced LCD TV in the production lines. To eliminate the red, the green, and the blue colors range setting through ADC gain values can acquire the correct colors display on the screen. Another solution is to jump out HDTV calibration flow, so we don’t need to do HDTV calibration again when did software upgrade in the future. So, I decided to lead in these solutions into my work to promote the work efficiency.
