Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 工業工程與管理研究所 === 92 === Traveling demand in Taiwan has grown rapidly in recent years, leading to a big growth in the traveling industry. However, while tourism is substantially developed it might bring a negative influence to the tourist areas. Nowadays, many organizations have strong motivation to establish sustainable tourism proposals, but seeing tourism as a production and consumption system, they only focus on the development indicators of tourist areas and the maintenance of current conditions. This is a reactive action, like a post rescue. The concept of environment protection should be taken into consideration when designing the traveling packages. Furthermore, consumer demand is an important factor in order to avoid unwanted traveling packages. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to employ the Green Quality Function Deployment (GQFD) to develop the concept of traveling packages. With this design concept, it will satisfy consumer demand, reduce the environmental degradation, and promote the performance of sustainable tourism. According to the steps of QFD, the study collected some literature reviews to generalize the items of green customer requirements and the technical characteristics. On the green customer requirements’ aspect, there are 8 factors and 28 subordinate items to be drawn, using the factor analysis method. On the other hand, the aspect of green technical characteristics forms a hierarchical structure with two levels, 3 dimensions, 15 items, and each weights by using the AHP method. Using the items of the green customer requirements and technical characteristics to transmit QFD and implement this technology into quality house, the traveling packages will consist of five important concepts: natures renovation, education edification, culture maintenance, experience reception, and abundant of trip content. Compared with past customers, the results show that green traveling customers make different expenditure strategic decisions. The green traveling customers focus on the travel guide’s professional knowledge, the environmental protection, and the educational meaning of the trip. Also, we have found that this model may assist future travel designers to design the specific traveling packages.
