The cross-functional team members’ contributions and cooperation will be helpful in the promotion of the new product performance. It’s a study of the effects of product-innovation types and team members’interactions on new product development performance. This research takes the NPD project as an analysis unit. We have given out 805 questionnaires in total, received 81 available questionnaires. The valid returned rate of qestionnaires was 10%. This data was analyzed with SPSS10.0 statistical software. Empirical results show that (1) the quality of the team members’interaction had a part influence on the new product development performance, and the team interaction frequency didn’t have the influence on the new product development performance. Therefore, at the different stages, coordination suitable interactions quality, and the moderate interactions frequency will be able to promote the new product development performance. (2) In originality product projects, the quality of team members’interaction had an influence on the new product development performance, and on improvement product projects, the team interaction frequency didn’t have an influence to the new product development performance. Moreover, no matter, in originality product projects or improvement product projects, the team interaction frequency didn’t have an influence on the new product development performance.
