Various researches regarding the input devices as well as the output devices were investigated in the past decade, and different algorithms were developed for difference devices by different researchers around the world. However, most of the algorithms were implemented by different computer languages such as C, C++, and JAVA at different platforms such as MS Windows or Unix. Therefore, one solution developed by one researcher may not be utilized by another researcher. This research leverages the web service technologies to develop an extensible framework of CMS to fulfill the distributed request called Color Management Web Services System (CMWSS). The major contributions of this research are encompassed as follows: • A CMS framework based on the Unified Modeling Language (UML) is built to provide the functionality of CMS. • A Color Management Module (CMM) compliant to the Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) developed by other researcher is executed by a SOAP calling message from any SOAP compliant CMS. • A Web Services Description Language (WSDL) describing the services of CMM is invoked by a remote CMS to explain the functionality of the CMM. • A Universal Description, Discovery and Integration (UDDI) mechanism is set to register for different CMMs which are SOAP compliant CMMs. 陳育亮 2004 學位論文 ; thesis 47 en_US |
