Description
Summary:碩士 === 實踐大學 === 工業產品設計學系碩士在職專班 === 92 === The shared space means that, designer used to utilize conceptual prototypes which are artificial objects and present partial realities to communicate concepts during design presentation, the virtual space constructed by designer, client and conceptual prototype is called shared space. When the shared space can’t complete express design concept, it will make misinterpretation within participants and effect the progress of design project. This study focuses on design communication and the content the shared space should have during design presentation. The study use questionnaire and case study to depict the present status and question in real practice. Reflecting the real status and study the communication model, the study propose the content and quality for the shared space in design presentation. After that, the study use success case study to explain the application, and make a simulation experiment on the problem case to verify that the completeness of the shared space is helpful to avoid the misinterpretation。 Main conclusions of this study are: (1) During design presentation, the difference among participants’ expertise and cooperative experience will influence the shared space. Therefore, designer should consider client’s background and use integrated conceptual prototype to communicate design concept. (2) Designer can blend definition drawing, conceptual poster, rough muck-up and sample to be conceptual prototype for communication. This can avoid misinterpretation and enhance the communication efficiency.
