To establish Hospital Information Systems for reducing the picture storage space, improving medical workflow, making hospital cost down, and toward filmless.
The survey samples of the research are from the experiences of Hospital Information Picture Archiving and Communication System of the medical media department of the Taichung area in Taiwan, and the opinion of the expert of the case Managers. By arranging the documents, we got the success factors:
1. Superior managers support investigation absolutely.
2. Although there are some internal resistances, the superior managers will communicate with their members for their supports.
3. HiPacs can fit in with the basic demands of hospitals.
4. HiPacs customization fit in with the expectation of hospitals.
5. The superior managers of the advisory company support investigation absolutely.
6. The advisory group has the same or similar experience of case counseling.
7. After on line, it fit in with the expectation of the hospital.
8. The enough service of the advisory group helps the hospitals solve all their problems.
