碩士 === 中國文化大學 === 觀光事業研究所 === 92 === Study on the potentiality of developing Tansuei river cruise Student: Ke Ching-Charng Advisor: Prof. Tsaur Sheng-Shyong Chinese Culture University ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to find out the reason why after four years of promotion by the Government, the coastal blue high ways(cruise)are not as prosperous as expected‚ though the water-based leisures are getting more and more popular in recent years. There are many famous river cruise journeys around the world‚ like Seine river cruise; Rhine river cruise; Yangtz river; cruise‚ Nile river cruise‚ etc.And we have the most beautiful Tansui river in Taiwan, it may be suitable for developing the kind of cruising industry and getting succeeded. So, the study applied The Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) approach to establish a Hierarchy Evaluation Structure to determine the appropriate weightings for the each element‚ and to evaluate the potentiality of Tansui river cruise.The result came out to be that the weightings of three main components are river conditions 55%, natural conditions 26% and cultural conditions 19%‚ The potentiality of Tansui river cruise development is 0.7123‚ meaning suitable for developing river cruise.
