Experimental results show that the viscosity for siloxane-based polyurethane ionomer in aqueous solution appears to increase with increasing the concentration of the siloxane-based (KBE903). As for the surface tension of the siloxane-based polyurethane ionomer in water,it was found not to change with increasing the concentration on the siloxane-based(KBE903) As a result of the saturation of hydrophobic groups adsorbed at the surface of water. In addition, the number average particle size for this polyurethane ionomer molecule is seen to increase with increasing polyurethane ionomer concentration. This is the result of increased free volume of the polyurethane ionomer molecule. The experimental data indicate that the tensile strength for self-cured film of the siloxane-based polyurethane ionomer appears not to increase with increasing the concentration of the siloxane-based dye(KBE903). The reason because increased amount of siloxane-based polyurethane ionomer does not enhance the interaction between ionomer molecules themselves.
