碩士 === 中國文化大學 === 心理輔導研究所 === 92 === The major purpose of the research was to develop a Growth－Service Program to examine the effects of self-worth and Social Interest of juveniles in Low-income Family . 24 juveniles were assigned into experiment group and control group. The 12 students in experiment group were arranged to attend the Growth－Service Program for 30 hours in 3 days. The control group received no treatment. The main instruments of measuring the effects are the「Self-worth Scale」＆「Social Interest Scale」. The data were analyzed by analysis of covariance (ANCONVA) for quantitative analysis. These findings of this research are as follows: 1. The results showed that Growth－Service Program had an effect on increasing Self-worth.. There were positive effects on「Academic competence」、「God’s Love」and「Virtue」，but no positive effects on「Appearance」、「Family support」、「Competition」and「Others’ approval」. 2. The results showed that Growth－Service Program had an effect on increasing Social Interest. There were positive effects on「Work」and「Society」，but no positive effects on「Self」and「Love」. Finally, suggestions from the results of this study were provided for implications and future recommendations were also indicated
