It will introduce a lot of harmonics waves in the power systems and reduce power quality. Therefore, this thesis presents use of finite element software to analysis magnetic field of transformers. Aiming at the influence on single-phase transformer by harmonic source. When we are considering the loading at different power factors, based on the observation of the relationship between magnetic flux density and magnetic field intensity, it can help to analyze the effects of power factory acting on the transformer. When a transformer is exciting, because overload and harmonic will cause the saturation of the transformer, cause the temperature rising of the transformer and the efficiency of transformer to reduce. This thesis will analysis following problems : (1) secondary coil of the transformer by different load (2) relation between the transformer and power factor (3) the influence of the transformer by harmonic source. This problems cause to effect of magnetic flux density and magnetic field intensity, therefore, further investigations should be continuous, it may become an important design parameters of transformer.
