Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 營建工程系 === 92 === The purpose of this study is to use the displacement of continuous wall measured in—situ which is caused by excavation engineering to estimate the soil parameters base on “Beam on Elastic Foundation Method”; furthermore, we use those soil parameters to forecast displacement of continuous wall caused by next few excavation steps. There are two programs in this study: one is an optimization program, such as BFGS method for searching the minimum value of the direction, combination of DSC method and Powell’s method for determining step size. Those are purposed to determine unknown soil parameters. The objective function is defined as the sum of the square of differences between measured and computed displacement; the other is VEX program which is written with “Beam on Elastic Foundation Method” in elastic and plastic model. VEX program calculates continuous wall displacement.
In this study, we used several hypothesized cases to investigate the accuracy of both programs; then, we investigated the case of National Business Center. The conclusion is that we can use reasonable displacement of continuous wall measured in-situ to forecast the displacement of continuous wall caused by next few excavation steps besides the displacement of first excavation step. Lateral soil spring constant is derived form empirical formula or theory formula.
