| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 營建工程系 === 92 === As a technical service provider, engineering consultant, which serves throughout all stages of a project, needs to utilize IT to maintain its competitiveness. In this research, we intended to provide a time-dependent projects performance index that was built with Earned Value Management System and Statistical Process Control. The time-dependent index indicates the trends that reflect the project performance and can be as an aid in explaining the performance of projects. In addition, a static model was established with Data Mining and a dynamic model was developed with Grey Model to forecast project performance in initiation and execution stage, respectively. The achievement of this study can assist in the decision making process because of better knowledge of critical information. This study also utilized Data Mining to explore the relationships between the project performance and the causes that influence project performances happened during construction. The requirement of timely control of projects could be met via the information provider in this study.
