Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 機械工程系 === 92 === ABSTRACT
The 430 stainless steels have been hot dipped in the molten Al-Si bath at
680 to 800℃ for 16 to 144sec, respectively. The effects of the hot dipping temperature and time on the thickness of the internal alloy layer have been discussed. The activation energy of the hot dipping reaction is also calculated.
The hot dipped 430 Stainless steels was heated at 850℃ for 1 to 81 hours to investigate the phenomena of internal alloy layer and diffusion reaction.
Alloy layers ranging 15μm to 150μm in thickness were formed between
the matrix and free surface. The thickness of the alloying layer increased with hot dipping temperature at time. After diffusion treatment at 850℃, the thickness of the alloy layer increased with time due to the internal diffusion of aluminum in Al-Si layer and the alloying elements in steels matrix.
