Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 機械工程系 === 92 === This thesis applies a simulation software package XFDTD, which be used to design antennas. The goal is to fabricate small chip antennas with a centered frequency of 2.4 GHz , with efforts focused on the design of small antenna, formation of dielectric materials, development of a mass-producing procedure, and performance test. Fabrication of the small chip Antenna sample comprising a radiating structure of meandered conducting strips for copper alloy by electric discharge wire cutting, with insert molding packed in a LCP composite dielectric material. This antenna with a small dimension of 8 × 5 × 0.6 mm3, and the return loss S11 has been measured for the small antenna. Good agreements between measurements. Suitable for ISM 2.4 GHz working frequency operation ( application for IEEE 802.11 b/g & Bluetooth).
