Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 電機工程系 === 92 === The main purpose of this thesis is to investigate the operation characteristics of a three-phase five-wire distribution system. In addition, the advantages, disadvantages and suitable application circumstances were explored. A three-phase five-wire service having separated neutral and grounding wires is quite different from the common three-phase four-wire service in which neutral wire and grounding wire are combined together. Hence, the operation characteristics of these two services are quite diverse as well. The three-phase five-wire service is not recognized as that of three-phase four-wire service. Its operation characteristics need be assessed in detail. First of all, the commercial simulation software package, Matlab/Simulink were used to construct the equivalent circuit models of major components of a distribution network as separated modules. Secondly, a full-scale network model of a three-phase five-wire distribution system was constructed by combining the component modules according to the network topology. Finally, the advantages, disadvantages and suitable application conditions of the three-phase five-wire were explored by comparing the operation characteristics of the three-phase five-wire service to that of the three-phase four-wire service. The results are of value to distribution engineers to plan, design and operate this kind of system.
