At the same time, The received packets from the IP network are converted to the corresponding TDM payloads and realigns them to the E1 frame structures at the other side, By this way the bi-directional point-to-point E1 transport functions are emulated. We named the system “E1 Gateway”(E1GW). The E1GW have four E1 ports, one Ethernet port and a RS-232 port. The interface of E1 port should be provided with E1 native services which include TDM frame structure feature, data clock recovery ability, adaptable line interface and line code functions. The E1GW also provides loop back function to do E1 loop diagnostic procedure. The E1GW supports PCM30 and PCM31 frame structures, the feature imply the E1GW supports CAS and CCS applications. The E1GW have unbalance-75-ohm and balance-120-ohm adaptable line interfaces. The E1GW can be adopt to AMI and HDB3 line codes. The Ethernet port provides with 10/100 Mbps transmission data rate by the IEEE 802.3u standard of the frame structure and protocol. And the E1GW have a RS-232 port to connect to a PC as the system OAM console for system setup and configuration. The results of the study could be applied to some field such as digital loop extender, digital trunk gateway and wireless local loop and so on. 邱炳樟 2004 學位論文 ; thesis 110 zh-TW
