Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 電子工程系 === 92 === Two modified tri-band Tab monopole antennas and one compact modified tri-band inverted-F antenna are proposed in this thesis. They are modified tri-band Tab monopole antenna, double Tab tri-band monopole antenna and tri-band inverted-F monopole antenna, respectively. The proposed antennas are designed to operate in 2.4GHz (2.400-2.484GHz) and 5GHz (5.150-5.350/5.725-5.825 GHz) bands for WLAN applications in IEEE 802.11a and IEEE 802.11b systems. We analyze the theory of radiation, design methods of these three antennas and compare the advantages and the drawbacks of them. The simulation tool IE3D is used to reduce the design time. At last, we realize these antennas. Both the simulation results and experiment results are discussed in detail.
