How to strengthen team affiliates’ interaction, coherence, trust and then support the efficiency and performance of a group is an important subject a venture should notice. This research examines that social capital mediates the relationship between citizenship behaviors and group performance. This study of 134 employees from 16 branches of a financial holding company’s bank demonstrated that citizenship behaviors contribute to the creation of social capital and the team performance and that social capital can improve team performance. Further, this work also indicated that structural social capital mediates the relationship between interpersonal citizenship performance and group performance.
