If an enterprise wants find a solution to integrate them, then enterprise application integration (EAI) is the one. Now, due to improve enterprises seeking to improve efficiency. Now, due to enterprises seeking to improve efficiency of the intra-organizational operations and to increase the competitive advantages, enterprises also confront the integration issue of heterogeneous systems among the business. To remedy the problem, we consider the subject from both EAI and heterogeneous database integration point of view. Therefore, we use the data transformation layer of EAI architecture to develop a general architecture to support intra-organizational heterogeneous database integration. In order to prove the feasibility of such architecture, we use Microsoft Office Excel 2003 and Microsoft Visual Basic for Application to implement this architecture for accounting management systems.
