I try to find out not only the interactive factors in those films, but also how to design narrative composition and interactive interfaces. Its purpose is to help spectators to comprehend the story by the logic of narrative. By operating interactive interfaces, spectators are able to decide different viewing editions and orders. Therefore, this research is an audience research with perspective explorations. It is also a qualitative research to know the new spectators’perspective experience by interactive DVD films. According to the result of this exploration, I try to find out proper ways of executing interactive DVD films. 　　This research uses films with parallel structures in each story. According to the present formats of DVD films, I divide its interactive interfaces into two types: “the interface of choosing a session and watching it immediately” and “the interface of setting up parameter and then watching it.” I choose Rola Run Rola to be the example for spectators. Due to this research I found out that interactive DVD films can be understood by audiences. With regard to interactive interfaces, spectators who watch the interactive DVD film for the first time, are more suitable to operate “the interface of setting up parameters and then watching it” Spectators can keep watching the film, while clicking program by themselves. For those spectators who have watched this film before, they are suitable to operate “the interface of choosing a session and watching it immediately. ”It help spectators to find sessions they want to watch as soon as possible. As for the arrangement of narrative composition, I find out the turning point of the story helps the parallel sessions to fit the narrative logic and help spectators to accumulate the experience of watching the film.
