The Gateway architecture is different from the common ones that use to work between SIP-based network and PSTN. In order to achieve the goal, call establishment is simple and speed, and reduce the cost, we probe into how to simplify architecture of the system step by step. Try to prune the unnecessary entities away, but still attain the request of communication. Without the architecture of MGCP, the Gateway handles both call control signaling and media transmission, no signaling negotiation between MGC and MG can save time.
