Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 商學研究所 === 92 === The Balanced scorecard, which is presented by Kaplan & Norton, is a management system for performance evaluation. It transforms the abstract visions into performance indicators composed of four dimensions. It well combines both financial and non-financial indicators that enable organizations to clarify their vision and strategy and translate them into action. Eventually, the balanced score card may be helpful to bring the organization to the right position.
This thesis is developed based on single case research approach. By using the Balanced Scorecard point method, consolidating the related researches concerning non-profit organizations, the performance indicators are built up to evaluate the organization performance of the subject institute, SHUNG YE Museum.
According to the outcome of this research, if to sort the performance indicators by both “Importance” and “Satisfication”, we’ll find that there’s a huge gap between these two factors. It indicates that there are still a lot of works needed to be done for further improvement.
We can also detect the followings from this research. Among the perception of “Importance”, “Internal Business Processes” will be the most significant dimension. On the other hand, among the perception of “Satisfication”, “Internal Business Processes” will be the most significant dimension, then follow the “Learning and Growth ”and “Financial” dimensions.
At the end of this thesis, by evaluating the performance indicators, several recommadations for improvement are suggested for subject institute’s reference.
