The porous membranes were prepared by wet casting method. In this work, the solvent was 1,4-dioxane and the non-solvent was n-Heptane. Via the phase diagram, it was realized how liquid-liquid de-mixing and solid-liquid de-mixing varied with the molecular weight of PEG. The structure of porous membranes prepared with different condition can be observed clearly by SEM. Also, the crystallinity of membranes with dipping time can be studied utilizing DSC. Through the above work, it was found how PEG molecular weight affected the structures of PLLA/PEG porous membranes.
