Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 環境衛生研究所 === 92 === Abstract With the rapid growth of the waste and the increasing difficulty of getting land for the use of landfill, incineration has become the main method for dealing with the waste in Taiwan. By means of the Internet questionnaire and telephone interview, the study aims to evaluate and investigate the performance of the large-scale incinerator plants in Taiwan. Through analyzing the problem of the management of waste, pollution control, equipment management and manual operation, I will extract the cause of the problem and also provide some solutions for improvement. The conclusion shows that the disadvantages of the operation of those plants are due to the gap between the expected performance through assessment of the plants before their establishment and the result after their operation. The reasons for the gap are as follows: 1. The input, heating value and the over measured-capacity of the waste fails to match the design data. 2. The instability of the operation, the inefficiency of the management of pollution control equipment, the over output as well as the low rate of recycling of slage.3. Flawed management of the plants, incompleteness of the service of the equipment and poor enforcement of normal operation result in operational ineffectiveness. For solving the problem mentioned above, my suggestions are as below: 1. Stricter control method is needed for analyzing the component and heating value of the waste. 2.Reviewing the process of sampling, analysis, mixing and mingling of the waste and seeking for improvement 3.The sampling and the analysis of the waste must be accomplished before fly ash solidifies. 4.The data of the equipment operation control, the best performance condition of the incinerators and the ideal goal for running the plants should be set up in a quick fashion. 5.Establishing technical platforms for more operational technique interaction 6. Providing assistance for incinerator plants to get necessary technical information. 7.More engagement in environment-related education and in the publicizing of the environmental policy. 8. Minimizing the impact from the disadvantages of incinerator plants through eliminating all the disadvantages.
