This study was aimed to test the issue in a Chinese society (Taiwan), with the consideration of interpersonal and intragroup levels of conflict and harmony in Chinese culture. Results show that both relationship conflict and task conflict were negatively associated with individual performance and work attitude. Relationship conflict was more influential on member satisfaction and turnover intention, and task conflict had more impact on job satisfaction and performance. Interpersonal level was more influential on work performance, while intragroup level was stronger associated with work attitude.
