| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺東大學 === 兒童文學研究所 === 92 === As one of the most important works of fairy tales, the Grimm’s fairy tales has played an important role in most people’s childhood. Characters of the stories, such as the princess, the witch, the adapted mother, etc, deeply impress the reader most of the time. But one question that parents and teachers often think about is that those characters will give good or bad influence to their children.
As time went by, new tidal current academicism emerges ─ such as feminine principle. Such academicism had given negative commentary toward classical fairy tale story like “The Grimm Fairy Tale”. Those beautiful princesses who had received widely popularity now seems to become guilty in some ways. To discuss those feminine phenomenon, this article attempts the penetration detailed data compilation, analyzes in “The Grimm Fairy Tale”. It cares to provide readers and researchers multi-angles in reading those stories and the basis of how to choose stories.
Does The Grimm’s Fairy Tales need to be rewrite or not? This is one important point of this research. Being The “Grimm’s ” Fairy Tales, the name “Grimm” is a very important representation to those fairy tales. Change the name may change the whole background of those fairy tales. Therefore, this research suggests that stories in The Grimm’s Fairy Tales should completely be kept as what they were, and kept the original spirit of the old Germany.
