A Research of Developing Resources’ Globally Overall Arrangements in Miniature Cooling Fan Industry

Recently, observing variation of industrial development in Taiwan, industry continuously increased investment in aboard, enterprises under rigorously global competitive environments, in order to get competitive advantages and maximum company''s revenues, enterprises extending their operations to foreign country already became a necessary tendency. During extending operations to foreign country, enterprises required to make suitable choice about global strategies, scheming and controlling method of organizations, global overall arrangements of production sites, sales bases and developing resources, linkage between these bases and resources, all these factors strongly make influence about companies'' competitive advantages.
Under rigorously global competition, enterprises continuously extended production sites to aboard as international product life cycle theory. Christopher Bartlett & Sumantra Ghoshal, 1989 made statements that there are 3 management principals for multinational corporations'' strategies: in response to local area''s requirements, seeking efficiency and knowledge transfer. According to global integrated pressures and in response to local area''s requirements, there are 4 international basic principals when enterprises decided to enter a foreign market and compete in international circumstances: international strategy, multidomestic strategy, global strategy and transnational strategy. These strategies contain individual advantages and disadvantages. Depending on pressures of cost reduction and in response to local area''s requirements, multinational corporations make their global strategy''s choice, organization and developing resources'' overall arrangements, in order to get better corporate performance.
On behalf of miniature cooling fan''s leading corporations, case studied enterprises selected suitable global strategies and executed developing resources'' overall arrangements for the purpose of obtaining company''s management performance. Global strategies, planning and controlling of company''s organizations will be modified or changed when industry environments been changed, company''s management performance been worse. Applicable strategic modification and reorganization may improve enterprises'' management performance, but it does not mean that every strategic modifications and reorganizations will also improve enterprises'' management performance.
Miniature cooling fan''s company proceeding applicable global strategy, developing resources'' overall arrangements, planning and controlling of organization, making linkage each bases by coordinated design and PLM / PDM through IT technology, will reach a better company''s management performance.
