Using a planning evaluation perspective to investigate four different drafts of aboriginal self-government law in Taiwan. The purposes of the study are:1.for comparing the essence and character to those drafts of law; 2.for analysing those drafts could possibly result in problems and impact in future; 3.for investigating the policy stakeholders’ realization and the degree of common consensus to those drifts of law. The research method include both citation analysis and deep interview. After Researching, the study finds the aboriginal self-government is not the only one path for solving aboriginal divergence and dilemma in Taiwan. On the contrary, the autonomous tribe might be more suitable with the demand of the aboriginal grass-roots. Finally, the study brings up both the suggestion of aboriginal self-government legalization and autonomous tribe that provide for government make aboriginal self-government policy in future.
