The customer who buys a product via Internet is spending less money to gain various sorts of product information. Otherwise, they could get the best product with the best cost. Therefore, the key factor to survive an enterprise is rapidly to meet customer’s preference and accommodate changeable market. In order to let enterprise more competitive in this digital time, they should employ ERP that is the enterprise basic information platform to manage business processes. It has always been accepted that the ERP would be beneficial to the company. As Holland and Light pointed out, over 90% of enterprises have implemented ERP to cause delay and overhead problems. Even some abandon to utilize ERP after two or three year. Why did it happen and what was the reason? That is why the most of scholars and enterprises is urgently to find out the reason. This research has been integrated all ERP literature utilizing diffusion of innovation and employed case study methodology to investigate Portwell, Inc. which has implemented ERP. The focus is to explore the evaluation of difference and decision-making and to take into consideration of ERP implementation with successful critical factor. Owing to that, it is nice reference for software vendor to develop product and make marketing strategy. Knowing to implement ERP in hi-tech industry, that could face some conflicts between operation and system so that bring out re-organization and customized system. Portwell, Inc. that has grown to be medium business, there will have some problems on facing change and integrated information platform. ERP has become the best solution, which is enterprise basic information platform for Portwell to solve the problem. This research results indicated that the implementation model would be the best example for most of medium business if they need to employ ERP. The implementation process, which can provide reference for medium firm in order to reduce failure, would be less problematic and the result would be beneficial to the company’s competitive advantage.
