Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北大學 === 合作經濟學系 === 92 === Worker’s co-operative is a type of social economic enterprises. A worker’s co-operative is simply a business entity that is owned and controlled by the members who work within it and invest it.
Recently, with national economy slowdown and unemployment rate increasing in Taiwan, with the resulting negative effect of worker’s co-operatives operating, the number of worker’s co-operatives begins growing. There are now about 150 worker’s co-operatives in Taiwan. It is interesting to study what factors cause it. In Taiwan, Worker’s co-operatives have faced the new crisis and challenge, so it is important for them to think about how to survive and to develop in the competitive market.
There are 12 worker’s co-operatives investigated in this study. A perspective form SWOT analysis is adopted to build a model for examining worker’s co-operatives in this research .The purposes of study are investigating conditions of the worker’s co-operatives, and discussing what the factors of the operational management.
For obtaining the data, this research takes the following steps. First, to improve the past theoretical backgrounds by reviewing the past related data and bibliographies. On one hand, the case analysis works on this framework in the base of worker’s co-operative. Second, case study is working on by cautiously interviewing with designed questionnaires.
The worker’s cooperative deal with financial affairs . Therefore , suggest that government set a financial fund or financial institution .
