The problems of Taiwan’s prisons and jails continue to plague us. The inmates’ human right is almost a field that is barely studied for many years. This paper has two crucial subjects. One is concerned with the reaction between inmate and other inmates could really influence the inmates’ perception toward the right of secret or not, and the other is researching the inmates’ prisonalization could really influence the inmates’ perception toward the right of secret or not. This paper uses statistical method to analyze the result of the research. The statistical method includes path analysis, statistics and statistical analysis, correlation…etc. The paper utilized 192 samples from Taiwan Taipei Prison by simple random sampling method.
According the statistical result, the research support the paper’s hypothesis, it means:
(1) The reaction between inmate and other inmates can influence the degree of the inmate’s prisonalization.
(2) The inmates’ personal information can influence the inmates’ perception toward the right of secret.
(3) The reaction between inmate and the prison’s managements can influence the degree of the inmate’s prisonalization.
(4) The degree of the inmate’s prisonalization can influence the inmates’ perception toward the right of secret.
