Summary: | 碩士 === 國立台北師範學院 === 教育政策與管理研究所 === 92 === The purpose of this study was to establish the norm for the TGMD-2 Object Control Subtest of the Changhua County Caohu Elementary School students from first to fourth grade, and investigated the difference of gender and grade level in the results. This study used questionnaire to survey 69 male students and 65 female students, a total of 134 students, enrolled from grade one to four in school year 2003 in Changhua County Caohu Elementary School. The students were tested for six object control skills, including strike a stationary ball, stationary dribble, catch, kick, overhand throw, underhand roll. The results were as follows:
1. Compared the norm of first to fourth grade Changhua County Caohu Elementary School students with that of American students, the scores of American students were significantly higher, and those with better performance exhibit higher scores, but no significant difference was found in students with average or below average scores.
2. The object control skills of first to fourth grade Changhua Country Caohu Elementary School students were very differences in gender. Male students performed significantly better in strike a stationary ball, stationary dribble , kick, and overhand throw.
3. First and second grade Changhua County Caohu Elementary School students showed no significant difference in object control skills development, but students in higher grades performed better, especially in strike a stationary ball, catch, kick, and overhand throw.
