Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立台北師範學院 === 數理教育研究所 === 92 === The purpose of this study was to investigate the concept learning of “light”. Both qualitative and quantitative methods were used. This study was based on constructivism and designed to develop and construct a learning website to help the students learn the concept of “light”. The subjects of this study were a class of thirty-three 5th graders of an elementary school in Banqiao City, using the computer and experimental classrooms as the main learning centers. The students were encouraged to learn through the network at home. The purposes of this study were to investigate the concept learning processes of the students through the intermediary of the constructional teaching strategy and the network-learning environment. The tools used in the study were network learning, concept mapping and double levels on writing tests; Data collections included network discussions, pretests, posttests, concept mapping, the interviews before, in the middle and after the teachings, worksheets and diary notes of the students. The self-introspection journals of the researcher were also one of the significant evidences. The results and findings were summarized as below: 1.Network learning environment can provide the 5th graders to construct independent study and interactive learning between peers. Besides, it also helps to raise the learning motivation and improve the learning effects on order to enrich the learning content to make the learning meaningful. 2.The learning process of the concept mapping assists the 5th graders to clarify another meaning for ‘light”. It was discovered that through animated evaluations of concept mapping learning strategies, the students’ concepts are getting better and at the same time they can control their self-study processes until the change in their concepts. 3.About the students’ misconceptions of ‘light”, it was found in this study that “eyes are automotive so they can see things” and “shadow is black”. Furthermore, in the reflection and refraction concepts of light, the misconceptions were different, fixed and abundant.
