Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣海洋大學 === 機械與輪機工程學系 === 92 === The aim of this thesis was to develop a sub-system fulfilling the extraction – cooling – trimming for die casting parts. As the part was extracted from the die-casting machine by a robot, it was cooled to the setting temperature. Then, the part was transferred to the trimming process to remove runners and overflows. After trimming process, the die-casting part could proceed in the next operation sand blasting process. The developed subsystem could not only become the part of die-casting automation system, but also diminish or eliminate the manpower and the heap space necessitated in the traditional processes. Moreover, it could effectively control the surface temperature of die-casting parts to ensure the trimming quality by virtue of controlling the water temperature and the cooling time. This could make sure the temperature of castings to maintain within a presetting range. Consequently, the insurance of casting dimensions and quality after trimming would be expected.
