Four substrates of different colors and sizes are used in this research. Result are summarized as follow. (1) Spotted babylonia can burrow in such substrates with an average size smaller than 0.68mm. (2) Among the four substrates, the black substrate sized under 0.2mm is Spotted Babylonia favorite. (3) Besides the character of the substrates, bait is also an important factor that influences how Spotted Babylonia choose its habitat. (4) There are no significant differences between two sizes of spotted Babylonia on behavior of burrowing and feeding. (5) Small sized Spotted Babylonia have better ability to adjust new environments than the big sized Spotted Babylonia do. Key words: burrowing behavior, feeding behavior, Babylonia aerolata, coast 陳俊德 學位論文 ; thesis 73 zh-TW
