However, if we want to know the interaction between certain sources and the associated scatterers which are allocated in a large region of space, we must use a lot of time and memory to calculate the region of no interest to us. So, the first objective of this thesis is trying to develop the multi-region FDTD method. Utilizing the Kirchhoff Integral Formula, we can calculate the far-field by surface integral, and eventually realizing the multi-region FDTD. However, a heavy burden on computational requirement appears because of calculating the integral formula contribution from each point to point. So, the second objective of this thesis is to enhance the computation ability of multi-region FDTD through implementation of Plane-Wave Time-Domain(PWTD).With PWTD we can save the computer resource from ( is the number of members. is the time steps)to .Beside, we also make a discussion about improving PWTD. 林俊華 2004 學位論文 ; thesis 100 zh-TW
