We measured the non-specific immune immunological parameters such as the superoxide anion (O2-) production and the enzyme activites of glutamate oxaloacetate transaminse (GOT)、glutamate pyruvate transaminse (GPT) and superoxide dismutase (SOD). The result showed that significant (P<0.05) increase of intrahaemocytic O2- than intact groups was occur in cobia fed with diets containing different dose of vitamin C and β-glucan after using nitrblue tetrazolium (NBT) reduction assay. Moreover, the O2- production was highest at day 2-4. However, on day 8 the O2- production was lowest. The SOD enzyme activity of cobia at different sampling time was variation. A significant (P<0.05) increase of enzyme activity of superoxide dismutase was generated in cobia fed with diet containing different dose of Vitamin C and β-glucan from 4-8 day. However, in contrast with O2- production, we found that increased O2- production was observed from 2-4 day. The enzyme activity of GOT in serum of cobia fed with diet containing different dose of vitamin C were lower than intact group (P<0.05). This result indicated that Vitamin C were helpful to wound heating of cobia. The results also showed that the cobia had higher immune response when Vitamin C was used together with β-glucan. And the best administration dose is 4g/kg Vitamin and 8g/kg β-glucan. Fan-Hua Nan 冉繁華 2004 學位論文 ; thesis 65 zh-TW
