Students’ grouping based on their previous performance and every cooperation group was equally distributed by their gender and performance. Each lesson combines two 45 minutes class time according to the school schedule in Taiwan. For the preparation of entrance examination the third grade students will face, the study was separated by three parts─first round:the grouping by broken square and cooperation learning teaching. Second round:related revision based on the reflection of the teacher and the assistance of video tape, papers written by students. And the third round:again another revision based on reflections and questionnaires by students. The questionnaires contains the study interest, cooperation skill, critical thinking along with learning performance of the students during the semester to evaluate the learning efficiency under Jigsaw cooperation learning teaching method. Study concluded evident results on learning efficiency followings:Jigsaw Cooperation Learning teaching method cam improve the study performance of third grade students in Civics Education of secondary school in their mastering the concepts studied, increasing study interest in learning Civics education and improving their cooperation skill, most of all, students would generally using critical thinking in their daily life. Being having such result, I suggest that Civics education teachers can modify different methods of cooperation learning teaching to fit on the secondary school teaching, and the same was recommended in social science of history and geography subjects. For the school administration, it’s fruitful to encourage creative teaching through different kinds of in-service study in cooperative learing. As to the education administration, more study for more new teaching methods, more demonstration by teaching consultant group and more rewards on teachers for creative teaching for cooperative learning would be sufficient to make alive the education. As to the future study on cooperation learning, a longer periods of study, a quantative study and a study on the other fields besides Civics would be a heartly remmendation. 張秀雄 2003 學位論文 ; thesis 165 zh-TW
